FAQ
What are your sample sizes?
 

We carry one size in one design, ranging from size 8 to size 26.  The majority of our gowns are size 12-18.

 
What should I bring to my fitting?
 

Please bring the following with you:

     * a strapless bra

     * a pair of shoes that are approximately as tall as the               heel you plan to wear on  your wedding day

     * nude-colored underwear

     * WEAR MINIMAL MAKE-UP

     * NO SPRAY OR SELF TANS UNLESS DONE LESS MORE          THAN 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

We will email you a more-detailed list and fitting information at the time you schedule your fitting.

Is an appointment required to try on dresses?
 

Walk-ins are very hard to accommodate on the weekends, which is why we encourage brides to schedule an appointment.  We prefer to have one bridal party in our loft at a time so that the bride and her party are the center of attention.  You are welcome to walk-in and look around, but we may not be able to accommodate for a fitting as we service scheduled guests.

How many people can i bring to my fitting?
DURING COVID 8 GUESTS PLUS BRIDE.

We can accommodate at the most 20, with creative seating, however we prefer no more than 10.  Remember, the larger your party, the more opinions you have and the more critique you will receive.  Try to bring friends and family that will be helpful and patient as you look for your perfect dress

 

 

What happens if my item is not delivered from the manufacturer?
 

The Bridal Shoppe is not liable for any delay or non-delivery of any item resulting from conditions beyond their control. If The Bridal Shoppe feels that a manufacturer’s delay is going to result in non-delivery, The Bridal Shoppe will, with your input, secure an alternative garment.

How long will my fitting take?
 

Private Bridal Room Fittings - scheduled time is 2-hours

Quick-Fitting Room - scheduled time is 1-hour

 

 We want you to have plenty of time to try on as many dresses as possible and have a fun, relaxing experience with your family and friends.  But be mindful that we may have another appointment coming in right at your 2-hour mark and will do our best to not make you feel rushed.

What are your price ranges?
 

The average price for our gowns range from $500 - $2900, with the majority between $1100 and $1900.  If there is a sample that you love, you will get the best savings by buying it as-is from our rack.

How long does it take for the designer to deliver my gown?
 

Shipping dates varies from manufacturers and are approximate. Special delivery on most wedding gowns takes between 4-6 months. Until your gown is ordered, The Bridal Shoppe can only estimate its ship date from the manufacturer. For an approximate arrival date, you may call 1-2 weeks after the order is placed. The approximate arrival date is the date The Bridal Shoppe expects the gown to be at the store and ready for pick up. This date is based upon the store’s knowledge of the designer, time in transit from the designer, and assuming the manufacturer is not running early or late. The Bridal Shoppe is in frequent contact with their manufacturer.

What happens once my dress is received?
 

You must come in and inspect the gown within 10 days of being notified of its arrival to The Bridal Shoppe. The Bridal Shoppe cannot be liable for manufacturer’s errors on any gown that has not been inspected within 10 days. Upon pick-up of the gown, it will be in the condition in which The Bridal Shoppe received it from the manufacturer and covered in a signature The Bridal Shoppe bag. It is your responsibility to pick up and pay for any balance due for any merchandise ordered within 30 days. All gowns and merchandise must be paid for before alterations and prior to leaving the store. 

Any gowns not picked up 14 days after the wedding date provided (excluding brides who have made accommodations for their gown) will be donated to a local organization if arrangements have not been made to retrieve your gown either by pick-up or paid shipping.

Can you ship my dress to me?
 

We highly recommend you come into try on and inspect your dress once we notify you of delivery.  However, if you elect to have your dress shipped to you, the dress becomes delivered as-is.  We can try to work with you on some dress issues after receipt but it will be at our discretion..  Shipping Fee applies.

 

 

What is your return policy?
 

There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations once you choose the style and place the deposit for the order. In most cases, but not all, changes to the order can only be made in the first 24 hours after placing the order and that this is dependent on the manufacturer and their policies. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. 

What if I need alterations?
 

The Bridal Shoppe has an in-house tailor who can provide alterations for your wedding gown.  You are not required to use our tailor , however our brides have been very satisfied with the quality of her work and experience.  Pricing varies, depending on what alterations are being made.  Please call Wendy to book an appointment for alterations at 214-738-7474.

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the Services;

  2. To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

  3. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

  4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services;

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you.
